We have a lovely campsite situated behind the pub and offer a basic camping facility in a lovely countryside location which is great for walking, cycling and those who like a rural escape.

 

We offer unallocated pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes at weekends from May - September / October (actual dates for opening and closure subject to weather so please phone or email us to check this as it varies year on year with the great British weather!).

**Please note -We do not offer camping in any form or use of our fields for events during winter months**

 

By basic camping we mean that there is a water supply and a proper toilet block (not compost loos or general campsite loos) comprising of three excellently fitted out ladies and three gents, with a large butler sink for washing. There are no showers or electrical hook up available.  

If you want shower facilities, electrical hook up or hard standing then please do not book to stay at our campsite, we offer exactly as we say, no more, no less. You can find more info, guest reviews and photographs on our Pitch Up listing.

Check in is from 2pm until 9pm on the day of arrival and check out is by midday on the day of departure.

Arrivals before 2pm will not be permitted and if you plan to arrive later than 9pm, this is by prior agreement only so please contact us BEFORE booking. We have these times in place to minimise disruption to other campers and allow our campsite to be quiet and peaceful for all visiting.

The standard rates for 2025 will be as follows:

 

Tents -                                    £20 per pitch per night (this permits ONE tent with up to five guests and ONE vehicle)

Large Family Pitch -             £30 per pitch per night (this permits ONE large tent OR two two man tents with up to seven guests and ONE vehicle)

Caravans & Motorhomes -   £22 per pitch per night (this permits ONE camper van / motorhome with up to five guests, awnings are permitted and        this does not include a vehicle in addition to the motorhome or towing vehicle itself)

Extras as follows:

Gazebos are £5 extra per night. 

Extra vehicles are £5 extra per night (please note there is no facility for camping guests to park extra vehicles in the pub car park, extra vehicles must be parked on the campsite and are chargable)

 Lunch and dinner offered within the pub, for larger camping groups we can also arrange outdoor dining within our marquee in the camping fields.

 We can also offer breakfast for large group bookings (must be arranged in advance, minimum booking for breakfast is 30 people).
